The event is a competition for pet dogs, with eleven categories including, most like owner, most odd couple, best dressed dog/puppy, tallest and smallest dog, cutest dog/puppy, waggiest tail, best trick done by a dog, best biscuit catcher, musical bowls and speed sit.

Registration is at 10.15am, with a gold coin donation per canine.

Dogs must be on a leash at all times and have up to date vaccinations.

Also returning is the Dog High Jump Competition.

The competition is open to all dogs and is divided into three classes; small dogs under 30cmm, medium under 55cm and large dogs over 55cm.

Dogs will have three attempts to get over a height, if unsuccessful on the third attempt, they will be disqualified, the dog to successfully jump the greatest height with the least number of attempts will win.
