The highlight of the evening was the dedication a plaque honouring the commitment of Marjorie Beck to the Trunkey Creek Community.
Marjorie Beck has been Chief Steward for the Trunkey Creek Show for a period of ten years dedicating her time to all aspects of the pavilion exhibits especially photography, art displays and jams and jellies.
Marjorie was always on hand to assist wherever she could.
In addition, Marjorie was also a valued member of the Trunkey Creek Working Dog Club and assisted regularly to ensure smooth running of events.
Students and staff from Trunkey Creek Public School took the opportunity to show their appreciation of Marjorie Beck’s extensive volunteer work at the school with the planting of a Camelia in her name and presentation of specially prepared card by School Captains Elisha Cogdell and Toby Ryan.
Marjorie Beck will be very much missed but very fondly remembered.
