In fact, the whole Western side has been incredible.
In Western’s win over Gordon on Monday Uhr was one of two Western bowlers to produce remarkable performances. She snared 3-10 from three overs and along with Bathurst’s Amy Kreuzberger (3-1), helped Western roll the Sydney-based side for just 59.
That came after Orange’s Phoebe Litchfield blasted an unbeaten, even 100 to lead Western to a bumper total of 7-171.
On Tuesday she traded leather for willow, becoming the second Western girl to post a ton in as many days.
In a swashbuckling stint at the crease against Penrith Uhr retired after reaching 103 as Western piled on 6-211. Litchfield also retired, this time on 32.
Uhr managed another scalp too, bowling just one ball and taking a wicket to finish with 1-0 and end Penrith’s innings at 90, sealing Western’s second straight win in the process.
“To get consecutive hundreds in two days is unheard of,” Orange District Junior Cricket Association president Dave Cumming said.
Western is the obvious front-runner in the girls’ tournament heading into Thursday’s final, while Mitchell and Blacktown have firmed as favourites for the boys’ section.
Two top-scores from Orange’s Lachlan Coyte helped Mitchell to two wins from two games and put them within reach of making the final.
Cumming said the Mitchell team was looking to repeat its tournament victories from 2010 and 2012.

“We are always up there,” he said.
Coyte made 45 in both of Mitchell’s first two games.
Lithgow’s Pawan Gajula hit 32 while Bailey Brown ably assisted with 30 after hitting 36 on Monday.
On Tuesday Mitchell finished with 189 and bowled South Coast out for 109.
Hugh McIntyre was best of the bowlers with 3-36 off eight overs.
“It could be that Mitchell and Blacktown will be the teams,” Cumming said.
On Monday Mitchell scored 7-224 to beat St George Dragons who managed 106.
While it is the 22nd time the championships have been held it is the first year the girls have had their own competition.
The Orange Invitational XI suffered its first loss of the boys’ tournament going down to St George Dragons on Tuesday.
The Orange team beat Newington College on Monday but found the St George team much stronger.
