The Preschoolers, who will be attending school in 2017, marched into St Joseph’s on Tuesday morning.
These little students brought their fruit and teddy bears and were greeted by our 2016 Kindy students for a morning of activities, including craft, music, stories and a bear hunt.
They were assisted by Year 5 students who will be part of the Kindy Buddy Support Program next year.
The St Joseph’s Kinder Readiness Program is a great learning experience for students, as they are introduced to some of the school routines, such as group work, following instructions and getting used to the school environment in general.
It’s also a great way for the students to familiarise themselves with Staff and students, so they transition easily into Kindergarten in 2017.
The dates for the St Joseph’s Kinder Readiness Program are the following Tuesdays 9.30am to 11am: August 16, August 23, August 30 and September 6.
Everyone is welcome to come and see what St Joseph’s School has to offer.
Parents are invited to stay for morning tea and listen to guest speakers.
For more details please call St Joseph’s on 63682243.
