The previously unbeaten home side were the first to score when their 5/8 was able to create some space for his winger to score a try out wide.
The try was unconverted but the Tuskers had settled into the game quicker than the Rams and led 5-0.
There were some big collisions in the opening exchanges with Baz Hobby, after being on the end of a big hit, getting his own back on a couple of occasions and with him leading the way the Rams started to look good.
After dominating field position and moving the ball from one side of the field to the other, a gap finally opened for Casey Wallace to charge over.
Cameron Hobby converted from a handy position for the Rams to lead 7-5.
The Rams were on top at this stage and after some good work from the forwards, captain Sam Nixon ,who had his best game of the season, was able to charge over from the back of a maul.
Cameron converted from out wide and the Rams were out to a 14-5 lead.
The Rams backs were looking dangerous and exciting, fullback Josh Farr was unlucky not to score after a great run but lost his footing with the try line open.
The Rams went into the break with an 8 point lead and were determined to start the second half as they had finished the first.
With Camo keeping the pressure with some astute kicking ,Temora were pinned at their own end, and the pressure finally told when Casey was able to intercept a wayward pass and fend off a couple of would be defenders to score in the corner.
Camo failed to convert for a 19-5 lead.
Temora were able to hit back after some good play when they were able to score another unconverted try and were back in the game at 19-10.
Play sea-sawed from one end to the other with strong defence from both sides a highlight.
A penalty goal to Camo took the Rams out to 22-10. On the back of plenty of penalties the Tuskers put plenty of pressure on the Rams tiring defence in the closing stages but were unable to add anymore points.
It was a courageous performance from the Rams and an important one with the home ground advantage in the big end of year games still in the balance.
In such a great team performance there were any number of players who deserved points but Baz Hobby picked up players player and 3 best and fairest points for his non stop effort in attack and defence.
Casey Wallace continues his great form picking up 2 points and hard working lock James Ovenstone was awarded 1 point.
This week the Rams play West Wyalong at home in what is also the annual charity day.
This year the charity will be the Cauliflower Club, a Rugby based charity committed to helping the lives of those with disabilities with a bias towards sporting related injuries, with raffles and a donation bucket at the ground ,as well as an auction of the jumpers worn on the day at the club after the game.
After the auction there will be dancing with music provided by Paul Albert and the bistro, as always, will be open for meals.
The charity jumpers for the day are proudly sponsored by J.N Excavations and Mid West concrete and the club appreciates their support.
The game kicks off at 3.15 at King George oval.
