Wool handling prizemoney has also increased on previous years and good entries in this competition are also expected on the day.
Strong competition is expected which will make for an excellent spectator sport.
Ted Lewis and Dick Fuller are in charge with a good support team to make sure it all runs smoothly.
The NSW Mounted Police will be on site most of the day, giving everyone an opportunity to have a chat and admire their beautiful horses, maybe a photo opportunity!
The Old Kentucky Animal Farm will be set up under a marquee near the flag pole.
They have lots of small farm animals for the children to pat. Entry is free and the committee hopes that many children will avail themselves of the opportunity to meet some furry/feathered friends.
Don't forget Murphy's Puppets will be there to entertain, as well as the Bush Band November Shorn.
The Official Opening by World Champion Full Bore Rifle Shooter, Ben Emms will take place at 1.30pm preceded by an exhibition from 35 children of the EmDance School of Dance in Blayney.
The announcement of the winners of the Whip Cracking competition and the Longest Gum Leaf will also follow.Come along and bring the family to the Carcoar Show, this Saturday, October 31, commencing 8am with Working Dog Competition, a highly entertaining spectacle.
