Bear Cottage is the only children's hospice in New South Wales and one of two in the whole of Australia.

It provides year round support for terminally ill children and their families from all over the country.

Bear Cottage operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides the parents and families of children with a life limiting illness a 'home away from home' to give them a much needed break.

Parents and families are able to take a break and not have to worry about household chores whilst spending precious time with their children.

Quite often, there is no happy ending for these children or their families, but Bear Cottage provides them with much love, laughter and support and helps them create memories they can cherish long after their child has passed away.

Blayney Early Learners has been hosting Superhero week to raise much needed funds for Bear Cottage to be able to continue to provide support, respite and end-of-life care for the children.
