Two hundred and ninety four teams came together from across the state to play three days of netball over four venues.
The days temperatures started at 4 degrees and then increased to 19 degrees by games end.
All four Blayney sides were playing in Division 4 at Hawkesbury City Netball Association.
Blayney's young players displayed excellent skills and determination, and they are to be congratulated on their excellent behaviour and karaoke skills.
Our 12's were experiencing their first taste of what competition is like, and to their credit they never gave up; and after a couple of trips to the medic tent they finished a credible 15th, well done girls.
The 13's maintained their record from last year and had a top five finish again.
Playing with eight players they showed their resilience and claimed 5th position for the second year running.
An amazing effort, congratulations girls.
Our 14's elevated themselves into a top 10 finish claiming 8th spot on the ladder.
These girls also played with eight players and never gave up.
Their stamina and team spirit saw the side narrowly go down to the eventual winners and runners-up by only 3 goals. Superb effort ladies.
Our 15's were playing their last year with State Age and after suffering some very narrow losses the girls came home 12th.
A fabulous result ladies.
Congratulations to all our coaching staff, Jacque Cockburn, Katrina Chapman, Kristine Hobby, Zilla Kinghorne, Louise Hamer, Amanda Townsend, Anna Micalos and Michelle Hodder.
You prepared our players to be able to meet every challenge on the weekend; the hugest of thanks.
We could also not have done it without our fabulous support pairing of Cathy Lane and Tanya Stammers.
You ladies are priceless.
To the mums and dads thankyou for your support and added assistance that made our time away such a success.
Enjoy your school holidays girls, you all deserve it!
