Local not-for-profit organisation, Housing Plus and Blayney Health One have teamed up to help more people get the right help, when and where they need it.
The Orange Homelessness and Housing Support Service aims to support and enable people who are homeless or at risk of homeless to break the cycle of disadvantage and achieve sustainable housing.
The service supports adults and families who are living in Orange, Blayney or Cabonne by providing: crisis and transitional accommodation, case management and case coordination, advocacy, tenancy support, early intervention and living skills programs.
Housing Plus CEO, Karen Andrews said: "The partnership between Housing Plus and Blayney Health One offers opportunities for people in Blayney who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to break the cycle of homelessness disadvantage."
Housing Plus' experience in providing high quality community services and affordable housing will provide a much needed services to Blayney and surrounding communities. The
Orange Homelessness and Housing Support Service is funded by Family and Community Services NSW under the 'Going Home, Staying Home' homelessness reforms.
