The Club was presented with the Alf Gillespie community service award at the District Rotary conference held in Cowra last month.
Past president Miles Hedge, who was at the helm when the campaign to replace the bus was initiated, accepted the award on behalf of the club.
"I was delighted to receive the award, it came as a complete surprise," Mr Hedge said.
"The project was identified as being of real benefit to the Blayney community.
"The old bus had clocked-up more than 500,000km. It was way past its service life."
In partnership with the community and local businesses, the club drove a fund-raising initiative to raise the cash needed to replace the old bus.
"I'm delighted that Rotary, together with the community of Blayney, were able to raise significant funds to buy the bus," Mr Hedge said.
Mr Hedge said the bus obtained should be in use for the next 20 years.
