This year’s it’s Rabbitohs Bryson Goodwin, Joel Reddy, Chris Grevsmuhl and Adam Reynolds.
Luck would have it both sets of players arrive having come off successful premiership wins the year before.
So if you’re a fan of rugby league ahead of the 2015 season, you’ll be hoping Orange CYMS are currently in the process of booking your team for the 2016 season opener.
Wests Tigers anyone?
“I don’t think it’ll be the Tigers,” Orange CYMS Old Boys president Mark Jasprizza laughed.
“We’re pretty lucky to have the last two premiers here though.
“It’s a really big year for the club this season with it being our 70th anniversary.
“We’ve combined the club and the old boys’ club season launch this year and we’re looking forward to it.”
As mentioned, the South Sydney quartet will be at the Orange City Bowling Club tomorrow night for the green and golds’ launch.
Before that, though, the four stars will be at Norton Park from 3pm to sign autographs for any juniors looking to rub shoulders with a group of players fresh off last night’s season opener against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.
Many are tipping Souths to again feature prominently come the business end of the NRL season.
Jasprizza is tipping CYMS to do just that in Group 10 as well.
“I think they’ll do really well,” he said, with a throng of new faces to be unveiled at the club’s launch.
“I went over to West Wyalong and although they lost there in the first game, there were a lot of new faces. I think with the Bathurst knockout shortly and possibly another trial, the boys will hit the ground running.”
The club will also undergo its annual away jersey auction, with successful bids featuring on the front of the alternative strips while also keeping the jumpers at the end of the 2015 season.
