Blayney Senior Cricket Club has registered two teams in this year's Bathurst District Cricket Association Competition.
Blayney will be fielding a first grade side and a third grade side.
Following consultation with the Bathurst Bushrangers Cricket Club, an opportunity exists for Blayney cricketers to play first, second, or, third grade.
This merger has been seen as a progressive step forward for the development of cricket in Blayney.
Training will continue to take place on Wednesday afternoons, from 4.30pm, at the local High School nets.
All grade of players are welcome to attend. Training will be run by registered cricket coaches, all players young, or old, will benefit.
Blayney Senior Cricket Club has introduced the policy that upfront fees will not be charged this year, with players paying $10 a game. This will ensure cricket is available to all in Blayney.
However, players wishing to participate will need to be registered with 'My Cricket' prior to playing.

The First Grade Cricket competition will commence on Saturday, October 11, at King George Oval. The Third Grade Competition beginning a week later, on Saturday, October 18, at Dakers Oval.
