A MAN has been arrested and charged with murder following the death of a baby girl near Blayney last week.
About 11am on Wednesday, April 2 a 35-year-old man attended Blayney Hospital with an 11-month-old girl who required medical assistance.
Doctors performed CPR on the girl, but she died a short time later.
It’s alleged the girl had sustained a head injury after falling from a trampoline at her family home in Mandurama.

After making a number of inquiries, and receiving the results of post mortem examinations, police arrested a 35-year-old man outside Bathurst Police Station at 4.10pm on Wednesday.
He was subsequently taken inside the police station, where he was charged with one count of murder.
The man was refused bail and is scheduled to appear before Bathurst Local Court on Thursday.
