UNDER 6'S MATCH REPORTS
The under 6 Blayney Victory side took on Ex Services Tigers on a very cold and windy Saturday.
Victory once again showed their strong team work and relentless defence. The Tigers kept pushing Victory but the Victory players backed each other up at every turn and scored seven exciting goals and living up to their name.
George, Connor, Daisy, Wyatt, Amy and Will have proven to be a powerful under 6 team who have a lot of fun and show their improving skills every week.
Player of the week was Amy.
In another under 6 match, Blayney Fury clashed with Waratah Rebels.
After a late start Blayney Fury took to the field against the Rebels. From the start the teams were evenly paired.
Blayney had five players this week; Josh Dowsett, Mason Kerr, Brayden Brewster, Sage Toledo and Ethan McAlister.
The boys seemed to remember how to play soccer this week and demonstrated their ability in defence and attack.
Sage and Josh made some great defensive plays. Brayden and Ethan where involved in many tackles and showed enthusiasm as they tried to push the ball forward.
Josh and Mason were strong in attack and Mason managed to score some after getting around Rebels defence. All the boys played well and showed that they can play as a team and work together. Team teddy was impressed this week and went home with Josh Dowsett, while Player of the week went to Mason Kerr. Well Done Boys!
