During the Easter holidays Hannah Stammers, Brittany Howarth and Tanesha Hahn travelled to Albury as members of the NSW Under 15 team to play in the Australian Championships.
There were 17 teams in their division and the team put in a strong performance to finish sixth.
This the first time in the squad for all girls and they played some outstanding Volleyball throughout the tournament.
Last week four senior players; Tarley Kinghorne, Sara Jane Gilliver, Jessica Cochrane and Laura Reeks travelled to Sydney to play in the Western Area CHS team in the State Championships.
The girls were undefeated going into the grand final and although their confidence was high they did not underestimate the ability of their opponent.
The team lost the grand final two sets to one but were very proud to finish with a silver medal.
Laura Reeks, who co-captained the team, was selected in the NSW team to play against the Queensland and New Zealand teams in the Trans Tasman Series next month.
Laura was also named Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
Coach Neil Pokoney said that this was well deserved by Laura who played outstanding volleyball throughout the entire tournament.
