Twilight bowls are on Thursday, names in by 5:10pm for 5:30pm start; everyone is welcome including new learners.
Market night is on Sunday February 7 so come along for a chance to win one of the many prizes.
There will be a working bee at the club Sunday February 7 starting at 8:30 please lend a hand if you can.
BLAYNEY WOMEN’S BOWLS
Club Championship Triples.
D Yeats, R Wilcox and D Hodson defeated M Marshall, J Claypole and U Stonestreet 23-18.
R Hammond, L Cunningham and J Adams defeated N Morgan, G McCrea and J Patterson 19-16. Next round to be advised.
Dal Cook and Val Brodin played social and had a draw.

BLAYNEY MEN’S BOWLS
On Wednesday we had 14 Bowlers for a game of triples and 2 games of pairs.
Game 1. Terry Adams, Rex Nowland and Bruce Gresser, after being 5 all with Tom Beck, Dennis Dury and Kevin Baker, showed no mercy and won 10 of the last 12 ends for an easy win.
Game 2: John Ryan and Neville Kable had a purple patch in the middle at one stage winning 9 of 11 ends to account for Harry Crase and John Davis.
Game 3. A Taylor (visitor) and Gordon Holland only allowed Gordon Death and Ray Neely 3 ends for a very comfortable win.
Don’t forget Wednesday February 10 is Charity Day for the Hospital Auxiliary sponsored by the Pensioner’s Association.
The afternoon is open to men and women, bowlers or learners, so come along. A sheet is on the board.
Friday twilights saw a full green of bowlers have a good time.
Game 1. M Cowan, R Hammond and D Hillier (Welcome Back) only lost 3 ends against B Bradley, S Bradley and R Blake.
Game 2. A Hamiltons, D Hamilton and K Chaman easily accounted for D Yeats, W Hobby and T Ryan.
Game 3. M McAlister, V Woodford and W Eason proved too good for N Morby, D Cook and B Seberry.
Game 4. R Dwyer, K O’Leary and B Gresser just got up over R Morgan, T Simmons and T Fenton.
Game 5. G Roach, K Ryan and M Kinghorne got a 3 on the last end to beat J Ryan, T Cheshire and H Crase.
Game 6. J Hewitt, C Prosper and D Eves (Welcome) and S Chapman.
Sunday Chicken Run had 24 starters with results being
J Hewitt and W McLaren defeated K Ryan and G Parker: G Egan and G Death beat S Parker and S Connelly: G Roach, C Prosper and M Kingham accounted for W Hobby, J Adams and B Gresser:Brett, M McKenna and T Cheshire defeated Aaron, J O’Neill and M Kinghorne: H Smith and G Chapman (From QLD) beat C Farr and T Ryan.
In the triples final P Weatherbud, G Cunningham and G Ford just survived in a very absorbing contest over G Welch, A Eves and R Stinson.
The final of the WDBA was played on Saturday but unfortunately our own Alan Nunn, Jim Russell, George Ford and Lee Stinson could not quite make it against Bob Hamiltons team from Molong. Well done on reaching the final.
Don’t forget “Joker To King” bowls this Saturday night starting at 7pm.
