Orange Waratahs were just too good for the Australian Deaf Football side in their Australia Day clash, claiming the Australia Football Cup 5-0.
In miserable weather conditions the national team, which includes Blayney's Mark Davis, were unable to stop the Waratahs.
Last year the deaf side won their match against the Waratahs but this year it wasn't meant to be.
Australian Deaf Football side assistant coach Rob Stanton told the Central Western Daily he was disappointed with the score but not how his players performed.
"For long periods we had good control, distribution has improved from last year, the structure, shape, what we worked on all week, it has improved and I thought we were a lot more composed on the field," he said.
"It's disappointing to concede five goals but I had a feeling we'd get tired."
The deaf side will now focus their attention on qualifying for the upcoming Deaf Olympics.
