Lyndhurst have had two away games against Cowra teams.
The first game saw Lyndhurst’s first loss of the season against Cowra Bowling Club, on a cold and wet day.
Bowling Club won the toss and elected to bat and finished 8-124 after 36 overs. Mark Ryan 56 not out.
The best bowlers for Lyndhurst were Luke Battle and Gavin Hoad who both finished 2-16 off 8 overs.
Lenny Ross bowled well again with 2-25 off 8 overs.
Lyndhurst chase started well with Gavin Hoad caught behind for 11 runs, to see Lyndhurst 1-25 off 7 overs.
Nathan Howarth joined his brother Adam at the crease, and they took the score to 2-37.
When Adam 20 was bowled, the wickets fell constantly thereafter, with Lyndhurst all out for 107.
Lenny Ross 16 runs and Dallas Battle not out for 16 were the only other two batsmen to get to double figures.
Man of the Match went to Luke Battle.
The next game was against Morongla with Lyndhurst finally winning a toss and then electing to bat.
With a dominate innings from Justin Platt 106, Lyndhurst finished with 166 off their 36 overs.
Morongla started slowly being 1-11 in the sixth over and after their 36th over finished up 8-140.
Lyndhurst’s best bowlers were Luke Battle 4-21 off 8 overs and Kirk Stanbridge 2-47 off 8 overs.
Man of the Match went to Justin Platt.
