The Blayney Dolphins Swimming Club is inviting entries in the Blayney and District Spring Relay challenge.
The event will be held on Sunday November 1 at the Centrepoint Leisure Centre in Osman St Blayney.
The event will kick off with a warm-up and registration at 10.30am before the competition commences at 11.30am.
Organiser Jenny Ephraim said that the day is a great opportunity for a family day out.
“It’s a fun day and we are trying to promote swimming as a great family sport,” she said.
Mrs Ephraim said that the swimmers can enter on the day as a team or as an individual all they have to do is swim 50 metres.
Eight teams entered last year’s relay which raised $500 for the swimming club. This year organisers hope to attract even more entries and have lots of fun novelty prizes and trophies on offer.
Entry forms are now available at CentrePoint and may be left at CentrePoint by 5.30pm on Friday October 30 or register on the day. The BBQ will be operating during the day and drinks will be available for purchase at the kiosk.
