The Sunnyridge Golf Club is expanding their facilities with the addition of two golf carts for golfers at the club.
Manager Edna Maynard said that the carts make it easier for people to get around the course and enjoy a game of golf.
“We have never had them before but so far they have been very popular,” she said.
The carts are available to hire by phoning Edna at the club.
Ms Maynard said that it has never been a better time to golf at Sunnyridge with the course being in top condition thanks to the tireless volunteers who keep it looking its best.
“Id like to thank Margaret and Roy Smith, Ian Fearnley, Ronny and Darren Cole, Bo Chapman, Anne Lees, Simon Braddon, Frank Leabeater and Bobby Bunt for all their hard work. As well as give a special thanks to Snow and Henry Smith for their work with the backhoe,” she said.
“Without their support it would be very hard.”
More and more people are taking advantage of the low golf fees at the club which are just $5 for 18 holes.
Ms Maynard said that the club is getting ready for the Carcoar Football Club reunion on January 23 and 24 when former members and families will come together at the club. If you haven’t received your invitation in the mail contact Edna on 6387 5207.
