St James Parish Blayney will host their Annual Debutant Ball on King George Oval on Saturday, March 6, 2010.
Thirty young ladies from Blayney and district have chosen to make their debut along with their debonair Partners.
Debutant Balls have been a tradition of the Blayney and district for over 50 years.
It is expected that the St James Parish Ball Committee will host over 400 guests under the rooftop of a huge marquee.
Guests will wine, dine and dance following the presentation of the debutantes.
According to the ball committee this will be a real community event as several other organisations are involved in making it a memorable night for all those in attendance.
The “Twilight” Debutante ball will commence at 6.30 pm. A licensed bar will be running on the night. There will be strictly no BYO as glass items are prohibited on the sporting field. All guests will be issued with and are required to wear security wristbands.
Tickets will go on sale to debutants and their families on Monday November 9 and to the general public from Monday November 16 until Friday November 27.
Tickets are sold in tables of 8, 10, or 12 in full tables only from a floor plan, no bookings.
Blayney Newsagency is handling all ticket sales. Tickets are $75 per person.
The Night is a Formal event and guests will dance the night away to “Nuthin’ 2 Serious”.
The Ball Committee said that all they have to do now is get the weather right and hope for a summer’s night. We are leaving the weather to up above! The night will go on rain, hail or shine.
