FUNDRAISERS AROUND TOWN
The new Niche wall in the village cemetery is the focus of the following fundraisers this month.
Get involved and support the fundraising efforts – with a bit of fun thrown in!
To date the fundraising activities have produced $1,520 so we are well on the way.
MORNING TEA
Ada Clarke will be guest speaker at a morning tea to be held at the Bowling Club today between 10am and midday.
Helpers welcome, male and female, and slices and small cakes are needed for the morning tea.
There will be a trading table so donations of plants, cakes or other sellable items will be appreciated.
Admission by donation – children free.
Contact Sylvia on 6366 3066 if you can assist.
ELVIS RISES IN MILLTHORPE
An Elvis impersonator, James Caulfield, will be treating the crowds to a little nostalgia from that very special entertainer on Sunday March 13 from 2:30pm.
Bring a rug or chair and join the fun in the garden of the former Cobbler’s Garden Café – now the Paper Workshop & Tearooms in Victoria Street.
Entrance by donation with children able to attend for free.
Coffee, tea and cakes will be available.
PANCAKES NIGHT
Bring the family along to St Marks Hall for a Pancake evening from 7pm on Tuesday March 8. Bring your favorite savory or sweet filling to accompany the pancakes.

BIG THANKS
A big thanks from the Paper Workshop & Tearooms to Julia Boag for her wonderful operatic and theatre songs performance recently.
She captivated the audience so much they even encouraged her to perform an encore.
